Why we're building this
The U.S. is short on domestic billet. Presses feel it first.
Extruders across the country report the same problem: billet availability, not demand, is what limits their run rates. Imports are long and far from the press. KP Casting is being built to close that gap regionally — a domestic source of extrusion billet in the I-65 corridor, within a day's truck of one of the densest extrusion clusters in North America.

How buying works
Two ways to source from us.
Close the loop on your own scrap, or simply buy finished billet — whichever fits your operation.
Run your own scrap.
You keep ownership of the metal. Send us your segregated extrusion scrap; we return it as press-ready homogenized logs for a per-pound conversion fee — a closed loop on your own units, with no metal-price exposure on those pounds.
Best for: extruders generating steady process scrap who want to capture its full value.
Buy finished billet.
We supply certified, homogenized logs outright — priced on the standard published U.S. formula (LME + Midwest premium + billet upcharge), so every invoice is transparent and easy to verify against the market.
Best for: extruders who want a reliable regional source without managing scrap logistics.
